JEE Main 2020 will be conducted by NTA. It is a entrance test for admissions to the National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). It is also a eligibility test for JEE Advanced test which is compulsory for the students who aspire to study in the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The exam is conducted twice in a year and in online mode.

Changes Introduced in JEE Main
Candidates can check below all the new changes introduced in the JEE Main 2020 test:

  • The age limit to apply for JEE Main has been removed. Now candidates fulfilling the eligibility criterion can apply for the exam irrespective of their age.
  • Candidates have to book their exam slots to appear for online mode exam.
  • For JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan), it is mandatory for the candidates to have Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects.
  • Aadhar card is not mandatory to apply for JEE Main 2020 entrance exams.
  • Candidates appearing among the top 224000 qualified students will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
  • NTA has set up more than 3400 Practice centers in the country for the preparation of the students.
  • Diabetic students can take water bottle, fruits and sugar tablets inside the exam center.

JEE Main Application Form
JEE Main 2020 Application form can be filled in the online mode. The application form can be checked at the official site.
J&K, Assam and Meghalaya students can register with a valid passport number, bank a/c number, ration card number or any such ID proof issued by the Government of India.
Also, applicants must have a valid personal email ID and a active mobile number for JEE Main Registration.
The application procedure contains following stages to finish the JEE Main Application Form. They are:

  1. Registration through Aadhaar Number
  2. Fill online application form
  3. Verification of Mobile Number and Email ID
  4. Uploading of Images
  5. Fees Payment
  6. Slot Booking (Only for Computer Based Test)

Students are require to upload scanned image of passport size photo, the signature which must be valid and make sure to provide the signature resembling the one at the time of the exam according to the particulars given below:

JEE Main Application Form Correction
The authorized body permits a one-time correction in specific fields of JEE Main Application form. An additional amount might be charged for making the required changes. The correction window will open in the month of January after the last date of submitting application form.
The changes made after the end date of won’t be considered. The form correction is same as filling the enrollment frame again for JEE Main 2020. Everything can be changed/altered apart from the mode of examination.
JEE Main Admit Card
The candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2020 admit card from the official website. All the necessary details such as exam schedule, venue will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidates have to carry one photo ID proof along with the admit card at the exam center. The photo ID proof should be in original as the Photostats will not be accepted.

JEE Main 2020 Test Practice Centers

A huge network of Test Practice Centers has been set up by National Testing Agency for candidates willing to take examinations organized by the NTA. A student can train himself/herself for the upcoming Computer-based test.
The qualified and experienced Nodal Officer and staff are there at the TPC will assist and motivate you to clear all your doubts and make yourself familiar with the CBT mode of tests. Candidates can appear for practice tests according to the schedule provided below:

JEE Main 2020 Counselling

In the counselling, the student will have to fill in information as asked like the name, address, choices for the colleges etc. Also, they will have to pay the fee for the registration as given at the time of the payment for the counselling. JEE Main Result
The result for JEE Main 2020 will be released on the official site. Result for paper 1 and 2 will be reported independently alongside All India Ranks (AIR) and Category Ranks. The scorecard should be downloaded from the site.
