JEE Main 2019 Answer Key and Question Paper

NTA has released the official notification for the JEE Main 2019 answer key and question paper. As per the official notice,9,41,117 candidates were registered for the examination. The Question paper and answer keys are now available on jeemain.nic.in. Also, please note that the facility to view JEE Main Question Paper and Answer Key would be available from today – Jan. 14 to January 17, 2019. Window would close at 5:00 pm on jeemain.nic.in. Students are advised to check the answer keys and question papers and save the same for future. Facility to raise objections are expected to be activated later.

JEE Main 2018 Answer Key: Steps and Link to check

  1. Students cango to jeemain.nic.in or click on the direct link to check JEE Main 2019 Answer Key here.
  2. On the new window that opens, select if you wish to check your answer keys through application number and password or application number an date of birth.
  3. On the login screen that opens next, enter the details and click submit. The question paper, recorded responses and official answer key to that paper would be visible. Students are advised to download and save the same for reference.

Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2019 answer key are expected to be released today on the official website. National Testing Agency, NTA has concluded the JEE Main 2019 examination last week. It is now expected to release the JEE Main 2019 answer key and question paper for candidates.

Students who have appeared would be allowed to go through their recorded responses and question papers along with official answer keys. The window to raise objections would also be activated along with key on jeemain.nic.in.

All students are advised to check the official website jeemain.nic.in regularly for updates. NO personal intimation would be sent to students regarding the release of answer keys or any other updates. The information would also be available on this page.

How to Download JEE Main Answer Key?

Candidates will be easily able to download their answer keys after official notification is published on the official site. All they need to do is login with their registration no. and password. Here are the steps below to JEE Main Answer Key 2019:

  • Visit the official website, jeemain.nic.in.
  • Click on “View Answer Key and Question Paper” link.
  • Enter Application no. and Password or Date of Birth to login.
  • Choose the date and slot to view the answer key.
  • Click on the answer key to download or view it on the screen

Note: NTA will conduct the exam in online mode (Computer Based Test). So, no OMR sheet will be published this year. However, board is expected to publish candidates’ response sheet and question paper.

JEE Main 2019: Important instructions for students

  1. Your recorded responses would be graded as regards the official answer key released. Every student is hence advised to go through the recorded responses and the answer keys.
  2. Objections would be allowed online. No offline application would be considered by NTA regarding objections to the answer key.
  3. NTA is expected to give about three days’ time for students to raise objections, if any, hence it is important to keep a check on the official website for the release of answer key.

JEE Main 2019 result for January 2019 examination for Paper 1 is scheduled to be released by January 31, 2019. The ranks for JEE Main2 019, however, would only be released after the April session. Students would have an option of appearing in or not appearing in JEE Main 2019.

JEE Main Answer Key 2019 will be published on the official website after the exam is conducted. JEE Main 2019 is scheduled from January 06 to January 20. To download the answer key, candidates need to login with their credentials.

NTA (National Testing Agency) has replaced CBSE as the new nodal testing authority for JEE Main and several other important entrance exams. This is the first phase of JEE Main as the new nodal authority will conduct the exam twice every year.

Steps to Challenge JEE Main Answer Key

Candidates can challenge JEE Main Answer Key and their individual response sheets by paying the stipulated fee of INR 1000/- per question. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned above to reach objection window.

  • Choose the Question Paper code and date.
  • Select the question number and enter “answer” mentioned as well as the “claimed answer “.
  • Click on “Add to Claims list” to submit the challenge.
  • After selecting all the questions for challenge, pay the required fee using debit/credit card.

Note: The fee is non-refundable under any circumstance. The decision of the board in this regard will be considered final and no further clarification will be provided.

Calculating Scores with JEE Main Answer Key

The primary purpose of any answer key is allow candidates to calculate their tentative scores and reduce their anxiety before declaration of final result. Here are the basic steps involved in calculating your scores with JEE Main Answer Key:

  • Download answer key for JEE Main 2019 using steps mentioned above.
  • Compare your answers with the key downloaded from the official site.
  • Follow the correct marking scheme to arrive at your scores.
  • The total scores calculated will be more or less equivalent to your final score in JEE Main 2019 Score Card.
